Yesterday Theresa May called a ‘snap’
general election and the general public don’t really know what to make of it.
Will the conservatives stay in power? Probably, say the political commentators.
Is Jeremy Corbyn ready? No, they say, but he’s welcoming the election with open
arms. Perhaps it’s because he’s as ready as he’ll ever be.
By what should we really measure
popularity? Those that are in favour of him might well have his emaciated Santa
face tattooed on their chests. Die hard. But, some Labour Party loyals cancelled
their memberships; MPs stepped down. What’s undeniable is that he won - 62% of
the vote… I think there’s a chance he'll get in.
Been offered a bell tent by a colleague.
Don’t think I’ll take it as prefer to be mobile. Also bypassed a kind
offer of social drinks.
(I had an unwritten date with myself for fish n chips on the beach.)
On the stereo: Allah-Las
